Linkin Park New Album, 'RECHARGED'!

‘RECHARGED’ adalah album remix kedua dari band rock asal Amerika ini. Album yang dirilis pada tanggal 29 Oktober 2013 ini sepenuhnya di produseri oleh Rick Rubin dan Mike Shinoda. Album berisi remix dari sepuluh lagu dari album kelima mereka ‘Living Things’, serta lagu baru berjudul ‘A Light That Never Comes’ yang berkolaborasi dengan DJ Steve Aoki.

Berkenaan dengan lagu ‘A Light That Never Comes’, Mike Shinoda mengatakan, "I think this song and release show where we're at right now. Making the song with Steve, premiering it through the Recharge Facebook game, and debuting it via Microsoft's Xbox Music—I think it's all indicative of our band's commitment to experimentation and pushing boundaries."

RECHARGED telah dikonfirmasi resmi di facebook Linking sejak 12 September 2013, hari yang sama dengan perilisan game baru mereka, LP Charge. Band ini juga mengumumkan bahwa akan ada album limited edition yang tersedia ekslusif dari situs web mereka. Yang terdiri dari sebuah patung 3D dari artwork album Living Things, buklet 48 halaman, baik dari Living Things dan RECHARGED album, dan stylus magnetik yang dapat berinteraksi dengan larutan cair dalam patung 3D yang menciptakan pola yang unik dan desain yang menarik.

Pada tanggal 13 September yang lalu Shinoda membuat sebuah posting pada facebook resmi Linkin Park mengenai daftar lagu dari album baru mereka, "After Reanimation, I told many people I would never put together another album of remixes...but as I began to hear all the amazing reinterpretations of LIVING THINGS, I had to change my mind. The result, RECHARGED, is definitely worth it. I can't wait for you guys to hear this amazing project, with contributions by Pusha T, Datsik, KillSonik, Bun B, Money Mark, and others. Our new song with Steve Aoki, A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES is on the album as well, plus a special remix of the new song by the inimitable Rick Rubin." Ungkapnya.
